Deputy Head of the Press and Information Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Luong Thanh Nghi said the opening of the IMC shows that all preparations for this important event have been completed. “We will do our best to help reporters fulfill their tasks to contribute to the success of the conference”, said Mr Nghi.

IMC covers an area of 4,000 square metres. It has a main press briefing room which can accommodate more than 300 reporters at a time and many media booths.
The organising board in collaboration with Radio the Voice of Vietnam and Vietnam Television has set up an audio-visual transmission network to serve media workers on request in no time.
