Hosts Vietnam failed to perform well in the tournament known as Khang Ling Cup 2011 which attracted 18 pairs from 10 countries and territories in Asia.

The Khang Linh Cup was an opportunity for athletes to prepare for the upcoming 26^th SEA Games to be held in Indonesia this November.
