Choe caricatures on display in HCM City

(VOV) - A collection featuring 37 oil paintings by Nguyen Hai Chi, more popularly known as Choe that he drew during the last days of his life while hampered by vision loss have gone on show in HCM city’s District 1.

Choe has often been hailed the number one Vietnamese satirical painter of all time. His highly acclaimed works have been exhibited around the globe including the US, Sweden, Japan and France.

This exhibition, which runs January 1-30, showcases artworks recently displayed in Paris, France.
