Designer Lien Thy to attend Hong Kong Fashion Week
(VOV) -Nguyen Thi Lien Thy, a student of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education and the winner of the 2012 Aquafina Pure Fashion contest, will represent Vietnam at the upcoming Hong Kong Fashion Week in January.
Thy’s Pure Charming collection has won over 30 contests and earned cash prizes totaling VND35 million.
She is now busy preparing six collections for presentation at the fashion week, in addition to the two that have already won her acclaim. She will also participate in a short-term training course during the week.
The Aquafina Pure Fashion contest’s second prize was awarded to Ha Thanh Viet’s Exit collection, while Nguyen Ngoc Yen Nhi placed third with her Shining Water.
All the prize winners have also be invited on Vietnam Television channel 9’s Fashion and Passion programme.
