(VOV) - In commemoration of the 2nd anniversary of the Kobe earthquake, the International Exchange Association in Hyogo Prefecture has published a book on preventing natural disasters in nine different languages, including Vietnamese.
The book aims to raise the awareness of foreigners living in Japan to the dangers of natural disasters and is being provided to more than 100,000 people living in Hyogo Prefecture.
More than 16,500 books will also be supplied to houses and schools where foreigners live and work.
It lists eight types of natural disasters such as landslide and earthquake and explains important phrases, including "hinankenkoku" (which refers to evacuation), or urgent situations which may be dangerous to foreigners.
