Jessica Minh Anh struts stuff on Seine River
(VOV) -Global fashion show organizer and model Jessica Minh Anh has handpicked her fellow Vietnamese talent Ha Linh Thu to represent the country at the highly anticipated J Spring Fashion Show on the famous Seine River in Paris on May 30.
Ha Linh Thu’s latest collection will be showcased on a 90 metre floating catwalk on the Seine’s giant glass boat Le Jean Bruel with the natural backdrop being architectural wonders such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Louvre.
Guests will be seated facing the multi-facetted glass window while the boat is cruising to watch models walking in front of them as if they are walking on water.
“I am completely drawn to Ha Linh Thu’s interesting blend of shapes, materials and craftsmanship. Her collection embodies the best of East and West using embroidery details and floral patterns. She knows how to make a woman feel elegant,” said Jessica Minh Anh.
Using sensuous Vietnamese silk and unique contemporary designs, the 15 new dresses by Ha Linh Thu are expected to capture the world’s attention in the fashion capital.
Other participating brands include Japanese power house Yumi Katsura, Spanish sensation Katarina Grey, Italian chic Silvian Heach, Lebanese “King of Haute Couture” Robert Abi Nader, English luxury leather brand Black Rose Collection and bridal house Elite Sposa UK, Nigerian pride Mai Atafo, UAE’s celebrity designer Aiisha Ramadan, Peruvian Haute Couture designer Carlos Vigil, and Paris’ very own talent Reine Rosalie.
Toni & Guy France and Make Up For Ever Academy Paris are jumping on board to create the show’s signature looks, which are described as elegant, bold, and intriguing.
The exclusive VIP and press event is part of Jessica’s series of unique catwalks at the most extraordinary venues worldwide following the grand success on London Tower Bridge, PETRONAS Twin Towers’ Skybridge, and Costa Atlantica in Dubai.
