Korean band NOM concert a hit with fans

Following are key excerpts from an exclusive interview the group granted to a Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) reporter.

Reporter: What have you brought to Vietnamese young audiences?

Boyband NOM: Taekwon-Pop is our first art performance in Vietnam, therefore, we would like to impress Vietnamese young audiences much by our fresh image.

We have performed manyof the hit songs fromour latest album.

Reporter: How do you view Vietnam and the country’s young audiences?

Boyband NOM: Our band has performed in the Philippines and China. This is the first time we have toured in Vietnam.

We like the weather in Vietnam most, which seems rather cool.

Reporter: Do you intend to come back to Vietnam in the future?

Boyband NOM: In January 2015, our band is scheduled to release a new album and we plan to organize a series of concerts to promote the album.

If we receive any invitation from Vietnam, we will surely return to the country any time.

Reporter: More and more Vietnamese singers perform in the RoK and vice versa.  What is your assessment of the cultural exchange?

Boyband NOM: More and more people want to know about K-pop. Not a few Vietnamese singers have worked together Korean singers on music projects. We hope to have more opportunities to co-operate with Vietnamese singers.

Reporter: Did you receive a very impressive music award last year?

Boyband NOM: We received the New Artist of the Year by the RoK’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

We are young singers and we will work harder to gain more achievements.
