Male supermodel to compete in Mister World
(VOV) - Supermodel Truong Nam Thanh has received an invitation from Mister World 2012 to represent Vietnam in this year’s beauty pageant, said Thuy Nga, director of Elite Vietnam company.
The company is currently completing the paperwork to obtain permission from the Department of Performing Arts for Thanh to take part in the contest.
Thanh is considered an ideal candidate because he possesses a nice face and a good body. He has also won numerous prizes, including the “Best Fitness” title at the Supermodel 2010 competition, the gold prize for the Supermodel Star 2011 contest and fourth place in Manhunt International 2011.
The 21-year-old supermodel says he will perform a magic show and a modern dance routine for the talent part of the competition. He is currently making a video clip to introduce himself and his country to the contest.
Mister World 2012 will be held in London, the UK, from November 10-25. Vietnamese supermodel Ho Duc Vinh won the prize for the best traditional costume at the 2007 contest.
