Project Runway Vietnam introduces hosts
(VOV) -Project Runway Vietnam has announced actress Ngo Thanh Van as host of the first season of the TV program.
Since making runner-up of the 2000 Miss Vietnam Photogenic, Van has appeared on the covers of all the leading fashion magazines in Vietnam, including Harper’s Bazzar, Cosmopolitan and Her World.
She first became famous for her role in Dong Mau Anh Hung (The Rebel), which earned her the Best Actress Award at the 15th Vietnam Film Festival in 2007.
In 2012, Van took part in two popular films, namely Ngoi Nha Trong Ngo Hem (The House in the Alley) and Ngoc Vien Dong (Pearls of the Far East).
This year, she was awarded Best Actress in Movies and TV serials at the Golden Apricot Blossom Awards.
In Project Runway Vietnam, Van will be partnered with designer Do Manh Cuong, former jury member of the 2011 Vietnam’s Next Top Model who has had his impressive collections in numerous fashions shows, such as The Muse, Dep Fashion Show, Elle Show and F Show.
The remaining host will be a representative from Harper’s Bazzar.
The reality show will be broadcast on Vietnam Television (VTV) Channel 3 at 8pm, every Sunday starting from April 28.
