Six gold medals for Vietnam at ASEAN University Games
(VOV) -Vietnamese students added to their medal tally on day three of competition at the ongoing 17th ASEAN University Games (AUG 17) in Palembang, Indonesia with one silver and six gold medals.
In Pencak Silat, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and Duong Thi Anh Nguyet won a gold medal in the woman’s double performance, while Vu Quoc Viet, Hoang Quang Trung and Nguyen The Hien earned a gold in the men’s team event.
The remaining medals were pocketed by athletics teams in the women’s 4x100m relay, women’s 4x400m relay and 1.500m event in both men and women.
