Thanh Hoa girl crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam

(VOV) - Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh (ethnic Kinh) from the central province of Thanh Hoa won the crown of the third Miss Ethnic Vietnam Pageant in Hoi An City, Quang Nam province on June 26.

As a student from Hanoi Open University, she got a cash prize of VND100 million.

The first runner-up was Lo Thi Minh (ethnic Xinh Mun) from the northern province of Dien Bien with a cash prize of VND50 million.

The second runner-up was Nguyen Thi Loan (ethnic Kinh) from the northern province of Thai Binh with a cash prize of VND30 million. She was known as Miss Sea of the Miss Vietnam 2010 Pageant.

The final of the pageant involved 62 contestants from 39 cities and provinces nationwide.

They belong to 20 ethnic groups such as Tay, Xinh Mun, H’re, Co Ho, Ede, S’tieng, Dao, Thai and Kinh.
