Singapore PM Loong begins state visit to Vietnam
VOV.VN - Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday (Mar. 21) began an official state visit to Vietnam that will last through Friday (Mar.24).

On March 21, Prime Minister Hsien meets with Nguyen Thanh Phong, chair of Ho Chi Minh City Municipal People’s Committee and reaffirms Singapore's longstanding ties with Vietnam. |

They discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation that is underpinned by the Strategic Partnership concluded during Mr Lee's last official visit to Vietnam in September 2013. |

Mr Lee will be meeting with Vietnamese leaders in Ho Chi Minh City on March 21-22 and in Hanoi on March 22-24. |

While in HCM City, Mr Lee will officiate the opening of the Mapletree Business Centre and attend a luncheon based in the city. He will also meet Singaporeans staying in HCM City. |
