Vietnam, China make defence ties important pillar in bilateral relationship
VOV.VN - Defence ties has become one of the important pillars of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh said at a reception for Ambassador of China to Vietnam Xiong Ba in Hanoi on November 16.
The relations between the Parties, States and people of Vietnam and China have been growing steadily with the defence ties having seen new and result-oriented development, as shown by by numerous activities of defence leaders and the upcoming fifth Vietnam-China border defence friendship exchange in Cao Bang (Vietnam) and Guangxi (China).
Vinh said with confidence that Ambassador Xiong Ba will contribute to forging defence cooperation as well as bilateral relations during his working term in Vietnam.
Ambassador Xiong Ba said he make greater efforts to reinforce the sound relations and further develop bilateral cooperation and friendship in the future.
