NA Chairwoman pays tribute to fallen soldiers

Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan laid a wreath and offered incense to commemorate fallen soldiers at Mai Dich cemetery in Hanoi on July 27.

On the occasion of the 69th Vietnamese Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day, the top legislator also visited Vietnamese heroic mother and invalid families.

She said the Vietnamese Party, State and people always remember fallen and wounded soldiers who fought their lives for national independence, liberty and peace.

Taking care of social welfare beneficiaries and those who made significant contributions to the country’s revolutionary cause is the consistent policy of the Party and State, she reiterated.
