Machine, metalworking exhibition gets underway in Hanoi
VOV.VN - Over 175 exhibitors from 19 countries around the world were in attendance at the fifth International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition (MTA Hanoi), which opened at the Hanoi Centre of Exhibition today (October 11).

In his opening speech, BT Tee, general director of UBM VES, co-organizer of the event, said the exhibition is taking place at a time of significant progress in Vietnam’s mechanical industry. The event aims to bring businesses together with technologies which will aid in the sustainable development of the mechanical industry and introduces the latest machine tools and mechanical solutions, said Mr. Tee.
MTA offers a platform for local companies to meet with potential foreign partners and discuss cooperation opportunities and market expansion.
Visitors to the exhibition will also have the chance to get firsthand experience in the utilities and functions of advanced equipment and machines in the field of precision engineering, machine tools and metalworking such as metal-forming, laser cutting and machining tools, CNC lathes, milling machines, electric discharge machines, metrology and test equipment.
