In the men’s event, the first prize went to Nghe An with 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals. Dak Lak came second with 2 golds and 2 bronzes. Ba Ria-Vung Tau was placed third with 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronzes.

In the women’s event, An Giang ranked first with 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals, followed by Dak Lak and Binh Dinh with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze each. Hanoi was placed the third position with 1 gold and 3 bronze medals.

The tournament had attracted 168 athletes from 18 cities and provinces who competed in 20 weight categories, 11 for men and 9 for women.
