The Prime Minister has given the green light to the Finance and Promoting Technology (FPT) Corporation to establish a university in Hanoi.

Under a decision issued on September 8, FPT University will operate under the regulations for private universities in terms of organisation and operation.

The university will specialise in information technology and will offer courses in computer science, computer engineering, and software and communications networks.
