PVN signs cooperation deals with US companies

The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding on cooperation with the US’s Honeywell and Murphy oil and gas companies.

Accordingly, PVN and Honeywell will seek cooperation to carry out joint projects in oil refining, petrochemicals, gas measurement and treatment, software solutions, and cyber security.

The two sides plan to set up a working group to study and promote the implementation of feasible projects.

Meanwhile, PVN and Murphy will look for win-win business opportunities in oil and gas exploration projects in Vietnam, the US, and other countries.

The signing of the documents took place during US President Barack Obama’s visit to Vietnam from May 23-25.
