The festival was opened by a choir of over 30 artists from the UK, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Australia, the US and Vietnam under the baton of UK conductor Graham Sutcliffe.

Participants were entertained with the traditional and contemporary music of Vietnam and dances, as well as folk songs of foreign countries, including Russia, China, and Australia.
