In photos: Party leader talks with Lao students

VOV.VN - On November 25, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong had a talk with Lao National University students as part of  his activities during the 24-26 November visit.

The Party chief visited Lao National University during his official visit to Laos at the invitation of President Bounnhang Vorachith.

Giving a warm welcome to the senior Vietnamese delegation

Minister of Public Security Tran Tuan Anh (L) and Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha.

As many as 1,800 students, including many being Vietnamese, were at the university’s hall to listen to Mr Trong’s speech.


The visit demonstrates the Vietnamese Party and State’s recogniton of high importance on strengthening traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Laos.

Lao National University has 1,981 lecturers and staff and 21,535 students, including more than 300 Vietnamese in the 2015-2016 academic year.
