• State President visits Marine Police Department

President Truong Tan Sang made the request while working with staff of the Command of Vietnam Mobile Police Force under the Ministry of Public Security on March 6.

He underlined great achievements of the mobile police force after the two years of implementation of a government project on building a mobile police force.

Along with maintaining public order and security nationwide, the force has helped protect various important political events.

Mr Sang asked the force to raise skills for staff to make the force an important arm of the people’s public security force.

Representatives from the Command and its subsidiary units expressed their determination to improve and set up new operation projects, in order to enhance their crime-fighting ability and fulfill all assigned tasks.
