NA to review key legislative reforms and prepare for extraordinary session

VOV.VN - The 41st session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee is set to take place over 1.5 days, beginning January 6, where it will review and offer opinions on key legislative issues.

According to the NA Office, the committee will provide feedback on the revision of several key draft laws, including the Law on the Digital Technology Industry, the amended Employment Law, and amendments to the Advertising Law and Standards and Technical Regulations Law.

Additionally, the committee will consider adopting a joint resolution outlining regulations for meetings with voters by NA and People's Council deputies, as well as a resolution specifying the implementation of democratic practices within the internal operations of the NA and People's Councils at all levels.

Regarding inspection activities, the committee will review the NA’s December 2024 report on public aspirations and provide input on a proposed thematic oversight outline on the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the 2020 Law on Environmental Protection came into force.

The session will also include discussions on preparations for the 9th extraordinary session of the 15th legislature.
