Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived in Pattaya city, Thailand, on April 10 to attend meetings between ASEAN and its partners.

He was welcomed at Pattaya airport by Thai government officials, Vietnamese ambassador to Thailand Nguyen Duy Hung and representatives of the local administration.

Mr Dung and other ASEAN leaders are scheduled to attend meetings between ASEAN and its partners, including China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand and the United Nations, as well as the East Asia summit (EAS) on April 11-12.

Mr Dung and other heads of state attended an informal meeting in the evening. Earlier, he received the president of the CP Group of Thailand – one of Asia’s leading conglomerates specialising in agribusiness, retail and telecommunications services.
