The PMs spoke highly of the two countries’ great potential for cooperation and agreed to observe 2010 as Vietnam-China Friendship Year to mark the 60th anniversary of their diplomacy.

They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.

PM Dung arrived in Hainan the same day to attend the Boao Forum for Asia from April 17-19. After the forum, he will visit Guangdong province, as well as Hong Kong and Macau special administrative regions.
