President sends Tet greetings to Truong Sa soldiers, residents

President Truong Tan Sang has sent greetings and VND100 million worth of gifts to soldiers of the Navy Zone 4 High Command and residents in Truong Sa island district to wish them a happy Lunar New Year.

The soldiers and the locals said they have seen the gifts as special treatment given by the president. 

Soldiers on Truong Sa island are decorating a yellow apricot flower tree for the Lunar New Year holiday.
They vowed to overcome all difficulties and be vigilant in order to safeguard the country’s sea and island sovereignty and maintain the environment of peace and stability.
