Vietnamese NA Chairman’s visit in Bulgarian media spotlight
VOV.VN - Bulgarian media have published numerous articles featuring the visit of National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, which they said is of particularly importance for promoting diplomatic relations, economic co-operation, as well as taking full advantage of the advantages from the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement and the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement.

Bulgarian public opinion has shown a special interest in the official visit of NA Chairman Hue and highlighted his visit as an important foundation to deepen the traditional friendship that exists between the two countries, as well as affirming the country’s important role for Bulgaria in Asia.
The Bulgarian News Agency article stressed that the top Vietnamese legislator outlined four directions in bilateral relations and the development of joint co-operation.
The first is to deepen political and diplomatic ties; the second is to expand economic investment and trade links towards becoming an important pillar in bilateral relations; the third is to create partnerships in the field of digital transformation and innovation; with the fourth involving promoting effective co-operation in traditional fields such as education-training, health care, biotechnology, agriculture, environment, and natural resource management.
The Bulgarian news site emphasized that Bulgaria was one of the first countries to establish diplomatic ties with Vietnam.
The speech made by President of the NA of Bulgaria Rosen Zhelyazkov also highlighted all current opportunities in terms of promoting investment between the two countries, especially establishing joint venture models aimed at investin in both sides’ market or in a third market.
In line with this, Vietnam will therefore help Bulgaria enter the Asian market and vice versa, with Bulgaria helping the nation to enter the European market.
This news site also affirmed that NA President Radev believes the visit is an important step in further strengthening the traditional friendship between in the direction of building a strategic partnership through enhancing high-level dialogue.
The news site of Bulgaria's Central Television, 24h newspaper, along with a number of other newspapers also simultaneously published articles sharing the event of the NA Chairman's visit to Bulgaria.
The articles stressed both nations’ determination to further strengthen the practical, effective, and sustainable development of the friendly and co-operative relationship between the two legislative bodies.
Many other major and prestigious Bulgarian newspapers also published articles and analysis of the visit by NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.
This trip also affirmed the Vietnamese side’s determination to strengthen ties, thereby opening a new chapter in the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation in a multitude of fields, especially the relationship between the two legislatures, as well as with the EU.
