The Qatar-based Aspire Academy will fight against U-23 Singapore, U-22 Republic of Korea and U-23 national team for the bonus of US$20,000.
The Academy is a place for training world football talent with their programme called Football Dreams.
However, Danang's Nguyen Thai Sung, who became the first Vietnamese contestant in the Aspire's global final, receiving a three-year scholarship for training at Aspire Academy, is not represent at this tourney.
According to the event's organizing board, Aspire Academy is a candidate for the title as they defeated MU young team 5-1 in the final match of the Milk Cup Premier in July.
After finishing this event, the Aspire Academy team will also take part in a U-21 international tournament from September 27 to October 4.
The event is a chance for Vietnam’s U-23 team to hone their skills and prepare for the upcoming 26th Southeast Asian Games in Indonesia this November.
The tournament will conclude on September 24.
