SEA Games: Vietnam ranks third with 17 gold medals

By November 13, the Vietnamese sporting delegation had 17 gold, 18 silver and 19 bronze medals, ranking third on the medal tally, after the host country and Thailand.

The latest gold medal was bagged by track-and-filed athlete Truong Thanh Hang in the women’s 1,500m running event. Two other gold medals were won by her teammate, Vu Van Huyen, in the men’s combined event and Duong Thi Viet Anh in the jumping event.
