Hanoi hospital opens weekly ‘cinema’ for children with cancer
Young cancer patients at a major hospital in Hanoi have been able to indulge in the fun and excitement of a variety of cartoons thanks to a weekly cinema recently opened at the infirmary.

The ‘cinema’ has been opened every Thursday since the beginning of July.
The movie room features cartoons, whose content focuses on the themes of family, friendship, and the world of animals, and has attracted a lot of young visitors.
According to Nguyen Ba Tinh, head of the social affairs department of K Hospital, the room is equipped with modern screens, aimed at providing psychological therapy for young patients aside from their medical treatment at the infirmary.
Hospitals in Vietnam often organize schools and theaters as forms of mental therapy for pediatric patients.
K Hospital is one of the few infirmaries to establish a regular cinema.
