HCM City to join hand with Microsoft in e-government development
VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City wishes to cooperate with Microsoft in e-government to empower its authorities, organisations, businesses and citizens to build and develop a future community in a more dynamic and effective way.

Thang appreciated Microsoft recent cooperation with Vietnam in general and HCM City particular and briefed the guest on the city’s determination to develop itself into a financial, economic and cultural hub in the region for a civilized and modern society.
To meet the target, the city has developed many breakthrough programs with specific solutions, which need technological applications, particularly IT application. Along with the development of e-Government, HCM City and Microsoft will cooperate in such sectors as consultancy, development and deployment of comprehensive solutions for e-Health, smart transportation, anti-crime and anti-flooding.
For his part, Mark Day emphasized that Microsoft is willing to help the city tackle hot issues in its urbanization process, such as e-government, transportation, the environment, food hygiene and safety.
He hoped that the meeting will soon open up broader prospects for bilateral cooperation through specific programs.
