Hundreds of homes damaged in Dak Lak tornado
VOV.VN - A tornado accompanied by heavy rains unroofed 100 houses in Ea Sup town and neighbouring communes of Ea Sup district in Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on April 13.

The tornado also destroyed dozens of hectares of rice which were approaching ripeness for harvest season. Electrical poles and power stations were also hard hit by the incident of freak weather.
Immediately after the extreme weather event had passed, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue process directed militiamen to offer support to local residents in coping with the aftermath of the tornado.
