Tan Son Nhat Airport opens new parking

Tan Son Nhat International Airport has opened a 10,000sq.m parking garage, located outside the domestic terminal.

Dau Khac Cuong, director of TCP Joint Stock Company, said that motorbike drivers could park temporarily on the second and third floors until the parking garage begins full operation in June.

Then they could switch to parking lots on the ground and intermediate floors.

The five-storey parking garage, which has been under construction since December 2015, can hold more than 3,000 motorbikes. While the ground and intermediate floors are set for motorbikes, car owners can park their vehicles on the second to fifth floors.

Estimated parking fees for each motorbike are VND5,000 (US$0.22) during the day and VND10,000 (US$0.4) at night. The respective prices for bicycles are VND2,000 (US$0.1) and VND4,000 (US$0.2).
