Two bridges in northern Hai Phong City open to traffic

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc allowed the Hai Phong City People’s Committee to construct Dang and Han bridges to replace the old floating ones which were built in 1980 and 1990, respectively.

Han Bridge is more than 256m and Dang Bridge is over 252m long. They were built at a cost of over VND340 billion from the city budget.

The two new bridges play an important role in promoting the city’s socio-economic development, ensuring defence and security, connecting regional transport, reduce traffic congestion on Highway 10 and developing tourism, especially to increase number of tourists to Trang Trinh temple, which is a special national relic site dedicated to Doctorate Nguyen Binh Khiem.
