Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association convenes second congress
VOV.VN - Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association opened its 2nd congress in Ho Chi Minh City on October 9.
Delegates endorsed the association’s activities by 2021 to promote people diplomacy and bilateral ties.
The association will boost its humanitarian activities, scholarship programs, cultural exchanges and exhibition towards the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties in 2018.
An executive committee for the next 5 year term led by Mr Nguyen Cong Tanh was elected during the congress.
