VOV advances media cooperation with China

The central aim of the talks was aimed at reviewing the progress on implementing prior agreements and further strengthening future exchanges and cooperation between the two agencies on media related matters, said Vice President Vu Hai of the VOV.

Since the establishment of ties in 2008, VOV and Guangxi Radio have given effect to several cooperation programs and are in the process of carrying out several others, Mr Hai noted.

Mr Hai added that it’s face to face meetings like this that really deepen cultural and people-to-people exchanges.

It allows officials from both sides to focus in depth on policy exchange in broadcasting and film between Vietnam and China, media cooperation and capacity building as well as digitization and development of new media.
