VFF appoint Jurgen Gede as new technical director

VOV.VN - The VFF on June 18 announced the appointment of Jurgen Gede as the new technical director at a press conference in Hanoi. 

“Jurgen’s contract is for a period of two years, effective August 1,” said Tran Quoc Tuan vice chair of the VFF at the presser.

“He knows football inside-out, having considerable coaching experience for the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan and we’re confident he can come in and make an instant impact.”

His responsibilities will include overseeing coaching and coach education within the club’s academy and those pertaining to developing and implementing player development strategies.

He will also oversee the integration between the academy, development squad and first team, as well as focus on the monitoring and reporting of players on loan to other clubs, said Mr Tuan.
