Ho Guom Opera House listed among world’s 10 best opera houses
VOV.VN - Ho Guom Opera House, the only representative of Vietnam featured in the list, has been named among the world’s 10 best opera houses, as compiled by website 10best of the World Travel Awards (WTA).
The site is a culturally iconic structure of Hanoi. Construction initially commenced on the building in December, 2021, with it finally being inaugurated in July, according to the website.
It features a large auditorium with a capacity of 900 guests and a smaller hall that is capable of accommodating 500 guests.
The Ho Guom Opera House is a place that brings together a blend of modern and traditional cultural and artistic spaces, serving as a venue in which to host cultural and artistic programmes, conferences, seminars, as well as large-scale cultural and political events.
