Images of Ho Chi Minh statue on Nguyen Hue Street
(VOV) -The new statue of President Ho Chi Minh has been unveiled and inaugurated on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street in HCM City, and is attracting thousands of local people paying floral tributes.
The new statue, at a total cost of VND7 billion, stands 7.2 meters tall with a 2.7-meter base.
The memorial was designed by Vietnamese painter and sculptor Lam Quang Noi, standing as a symbol of the city people’s eternal love for the nation’s founding father.
