A charity golf tournament between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) will be held at the Tam Dao golf course in the northern midland province of Phu Tho on September 2 to raise funds for homeless people, according to the RoK Embassy in Hanoi.
The RoK ambassador to Vietnam, Im Hong Jae, and 60 other visitors, including foreign ambassadors in Hanoi and businessmen from the RoK and Vietnam, will take part in the tournament.
The event will be sponsored by Pang Rim Neotex Co. Ltd., from the RoK, which has contributed to many charitable activities in northern Phu Tho province over the past ten years.
Event organizers expect to raise US$10,000 for homeless people in Phu Tho.
