Indonesia to host 30th world port, harbor conference
Indonesia will host the 30th conference of the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) in 2017, according to the spokesperson of the state port operator Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) III, Edi Prayitno.
A preparation meeting has been held in Bali, attended by more than 1,500 members and delegations from around the world.

The IAPH, founded in 1955, represents more than 200 ports in 90 countries. Its total cargo being serviced accounts for 60% of the global trade by sea as well as nearly 80% of the flow of containers around the world.
It is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation that is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
