The event has drawn the participation of more than 109 athletes from 21 countries and territories over the world.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Le Thi Ai Nam, Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Lieu provincial People’s Committee said the event aims to celebrate the 15^th founding anniversary of the province and promote friendship, international exchanges, tourism development and tennis movement in the locality.   

The tournament will last until October 16.
